Accoya as standard, oak if you prefer
Swollen frames, flaking paint and rotting bottom rails are the usual reasons people replace a wooden door. That's why all our timber external doors are made from Accoya® as standard. It's a high-performance modified timber with a 50-year guarantee against rot and warp.
Prefer oak? We also make solid oak front doors to order. Painted doors can be matched to any RAL or brand colour, including Farrow & Ball and Dulux.
A Recent Project: Easingwold, North Yorkshire
This hardwood front door was made to order in our Thirsk workshop for a period property in Easingwold.
The brief was straightforward: a door that looked in keeping with the street, met current security standards, and would last.
The finished door has solid hardwood construction, glazed panels and multi-point locking, and is PAS 24 certified and Secured by Design.
The owners get the character of a traditional front door with none of the compromises.
